Shreve is a village located in Wayne County, Ohio, United States. It is situated in the northeastern part of the state and is approximately 65 miles south of Cleveland, 65 miles northeast of Columbus, and 30 miles southwest of Akron. The village covers an area of 0.93 square miles and has a population of around 1,500 people. Shreve is known for its strong Amish heritage and is home to the Ohio Swiss Festival, which celebrates the village's Swiss roots. The village is also a popular destination for outdoor recreation and is located in close proximity to several state parks and wildlife areas.
